How to enter the draw

Exhibitor Reps and Sales staff issue the OSHOW 2020 branded Golden Tickets to their customers – including optometrists, dispensers, practice staff etc.

The OSHOW 2020 Visitor must pre-register, complete name and affix Practice stamp and/or business card to the Golden Ticket (Must be validated by stamp or business card); and then attend OSHOW 2020.

Golden Tickets must be hand posted in the prize barrel located inside the exhibition hall.

Both the rep and the customer whose names appear on the Golden Ticket win a prize each. They do not go together!

Conditions of entry

This prize draw is an initiative of Optical Distributors & Manufacturers Association, (hereinafter called The Organisers)

This is a game of chance.

Entry into the prize draw means you accept these terms and conditions.

Entry is free.

Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents who attend OSHOW 2020 on any of the operational days between 16-17 May 2020 at Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park, Sydney.

Prize draw entrants must be 18 or over at the time of OSHOW 2020.

Employees and contractors of The Organisers, their agencies, non- exhibiting trade suppliers and agencies associated with this promotion, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

All entries become the property of The Organisers.

The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or dishonest manner.

The Organisers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Dates

Entries close on Sunday 17 May at 3.00pm.

Prize draw and notification

The winners will be drawn at random at OSHOW 2020 on Sunday 17 May at 3.30pm.

The winners will be notified by phone and/or email. If, despite reasonable efforts by The Organisers, a potential prize winner does not respond to The Organisers within 7 days of the date of notification, the prize will be forfeited and The Organisers reserve the right to redraw the prizes.

If the winner is unable to be contacted due to provision of incorrect visitor details, The Organisers reserve the right to redraw the prizes.

Prize

Both the visitor and the Exhibitor Rep whose names appear on the prize winning Golden Ticket will receive a holiday package to the value of $1,500 each (total prize pool value is a maximum of $3,000) consisting of:

2 x Return economy flights to Gold Coast.

3 nights, minimum 4 star accommodation including breakfast in shared room.

Meals, transfers, insurance and spending money not included.

Prize to be used within 12 months of receiving voucher.

Bookings need to be made 3 months in advance of intended travel date.

Not applicable during school holidays or in conjunction with any public holiday.

Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars.

The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash and is transferable only at the discretion of The Organisers. No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated

The judges’ draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
